Forum width

Rather than setting the overall width of the forum (which I currently have set at 950) is there a way of setting the width of the inner forum size (i.e., from the left edge of the "forum" outer table to the right edge of "moderator"?

I need to add some ads down the sides of the forum and to do this I need to reduce the width of the forum down within the outer "Main Table Width".
