How to show sub-forum quick links?

I have a quick question. I was wondering if anyone would kindly show me how to create "quick-link" sub-forum links like the ones you see here that say (Apothecary, Butchering, etc....):

    They didn't create the links.

They simply created the forums "Apothecary, Butchering, Scavenging, Cultivating" and chose "Crafting Discussion" to be their parent forum. You can set this when creating or editing a forum.

See my posts in this thread:

Nick, its not working for me. When I follow those instructions, what happens is that the parent category is the only things that shows. The child forum does not show, and of course, neither do the child's sub-forums. Could it have something to do with the display orders being mixed up?

      EDIT:

      Here's what I have

Dwarf Army & Career Discussion (category, no parent)
-- Dwarf Army Discussion (open forum, child to above category)
--- Ironbreaker (open forum, child to dwarf army discusison)
--- Runepriest (open forum, child to dwarf army discusison)
--- Engineer (open forum, child to dwarf army discusison)

The problem is, the only thing that shows on the forum homepage is the Dwarf Army & Career Discussion category. It doesn't show the Dwarf Army Discussion sub-forum, and of course, neither of the "quick-link" sub-forums.

Go to AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options

Try adjusting the first three settings to:
        2
        2
        1
        Regards,
