    Moving Hosts

Can I have a few versions of vBulletin running at the same time? I would have 3 offline versions of vBulletin, is this ok?

No sorry. Each license is good for one installation of vBulletin, i.e., one set of vB files on one domain with one set of vB database tables. As per the license agreement:

"vBulletin license grants you the right to run one instance (a single installation) of the Software on one web server and one web site for each license purchased. Each license may power one instance of the Software on one domain. For each installed instance of the Software, a separate license is required. Modifications to the software or database to circumvent the one-license-one-board rule are prohibited."

You can view the license agreement here:

Sorry, my question was not clear.

On my current host, I have my forum (online) and a testvb (closed to the public).

Can I keep these two on my old host while I am installing on my new host so for about 10 mins I would have 3 copys running, after that, it would go 1 copy so I don't risk losing my information?

No, you are allowed on test copy and one live copy.

Fine but I really think you should reconsider for the future. I think the rule is there to make sure you get a profit but I would not be running more than one forum. Only keeping one there as a backup for a maximum of an hour.
