Registration : Invalid Password... Error

Hi All,
I am using vB 3.7.1

Some of members reported that they are getting 'Invalid Password' error during registration even though they have given correct password.

Anyone faced this error in your board ?

What can be the cause of it ?

What are the possible reasons that given password may not get accepted ?

Note: Just to confirm, I have NO plug-ins. I am using just the default installation.

That does not happen with the default vB. They are either using the wrong password or you have a modification causing this.

Try registering yourself to see if you have the same problem.

It did not happen to me till now. And I have not done any modifications till now.

But many users reported it, not just 1 or 2. Other users are able to register just fine.

And I can see similar problem for few people in this forum in the 'Similar Threads' displayed for this topic.

I am hoping to find someone here having the same problem.
