About cache poisoning

I've read on the Guardian that this vulnerability could cause the largest security update in web history. Although the problem is the DNS protocol itself, is there any news about that on vBulletin software? Does it affect us?

Any routing or DNS issues are handled at the Operating System and router levels and outside anything vBulletin has control of.
