Hide Quick Reply Box Until User Clicks QR Button?

After migrating users to VB, some are confused about the keeping the threaded/hybrid database structure together...

...well, they don't even think about that... They just wonder why they can't click in the box.

We want to keep the QR setting to require the QR post button click... (And it is the same required SINGLE click as it is to just click inside the QR box to start typing)...

...but how would you hide the box below the forums until the person click that button?

Having it there can only cause confusion. Make sense?
