Datamanager and welcome pm

Hi,
I'm developing an class to insert new users from my system.
I am "able" (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=277297) to save data and everything's ok but, one option of my forum is to send a welcome pm to new users. It work greatly from vbulletin registration form but not if I use datamanager.

How can i send this sort of message to user inserted from my class?
