  • mass options change [by sql query]

    Hello,
I would like to mass change options display posts in my forums:
Default View Age: Show all threads
Default Sort Field: Last Post Time
    Default Sort Order: Descending
How to change it for all forums by sql query?

    Thanks!

By "descending," I'm assuming you mean "oldest first?" If so:

Maintenance > Execute SQL Query > Automatic Query drop-down (choose "Posts - Oldest First") > Continue

There doesn't appear to be an automatic query for Last Post Time. Somebody else will have to help you with that one.

Sorry for dub. post, but this:
        Code:
Maintenance > Execute SQL Query > Automatic Query drop-down (choose "All Threads") > Continue
        doesn't work. :/

What was the resolution for this? I'm having the same issue, I was trying to the search the boards before I post a new thread about it. Just in case I'll post what I'm looking for here.

I would like all forums & boards to default the "sort order" to descending and default the "sort field" to last post time. Descending should mean the most recent threads displaying on the first page. I tried to see if I could find that option in the Admin CP but I couldn't find anything.

          Thx
