how to add a custom css class

Ok, I'm sorry to go a little off topic here, but I just want to mention this is the only post I found in a morning of searching which describes exactly how to add a custom css class. I know I probably could have found the info in the manual, but I'm one of those people who avoids manuals (yes, at my own peril).

So thanks, José, I really appreciate your spelling it out here:

You might want to create custom 'class selectors' for that area, as bigusername and smallfont is used in various places thoughout your fourm board. You would need to directly add Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) tag <style> </style> into postbit_legacy template or you can rename classes that will attribute to those areas the changes you need, by just creating new custom classes for Main CSS -> Additional CSS Definitions.

    Post bit Font size

I currently have all my user info on the left, instead of the top. However, I'd like to make the font smaller. How can I change the font size in the member post bit info? Just to clarify I'm talking about the right area, I've posted it.
