  • error reporting a post

    we upgraded to vbulletin 3.71 recently and we have just now noticed reporting a post gives our users an error. it still does send the reported post email and it still works but it doesnt look like it does because the following error is all the user sees.

    Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in *****\forums\includes\class_reportitem.php(351) : eval()'d code on line 1
    any ideas what would be causing this? ive searched here and didnt find this particular file in a search.

    This error is from a plugin you've installed. You need to disable each of your plugins then turn one at a time to see which one is causing this.

    If you cannot log into the Admin CP then to disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    This will disable all hooks and allow you to log in properly with no hooks running.
