Server error installing APC

When APC is installed I get a 500 server error on my vb forum - the other sites on the server work OK.

I cant search for a resolution because APC is too short, and server error throws up the wrong answers. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I do not know, but I have read on the documentation that it is known that op-cache accelerators cause more segfaults, which can lead to error 500 or blank pages. They had no info on how to fix this. Make sure you run APC 3.0.18 or higher to ensure known issues have been resolved.

It was 3.0.18 I was installing.

I went from WHM to pecl manager and installed it through there. I did nothing else. Have I missed something out from the setup perhaps?

Check your web server's error log.
