Spam management

Maybe I just don't see it, but is there an easy way to ban user and delete all of his messages and private messages from the user profile?

I frequently have PM spammers, so they don't start threads, so I can't use "Delete Threads as Spam" functionality.

You can delete all PMs sent by a user in your:

Admin CP -> Users -> Search for Users

Find their account and edit their profile. In the pulldown menu on their profile page is an option called Delete Private Messages Sent by User.

You can delete all of their posts in your:

Admin CP -> Threads & Posts -> Prune

I've got a similar question and I wish I knew the answer above before deleting the spammer registrant's profile... is there something that can easily be done to delete the PMs after you've deleted the profile?

I don't know of any easy way to do that. You would have to delete all associated records from these tables:

pm
pmtext
pmreceipt

Ideally you should restore a backup of the database and then use the Admin CP option.
