Removing the "edited by"...

hi,

this might be a strange Q...

I want to remove the "edited by" from one of my users posts..

They posted a post but have now edited it and the "edited by" has shown up.. I want to remove that!

But still keep the thread in tact before they edited it..

I have deleted the postedit tables for that post in the mysql database,but its still showing..

any idea if I can do this or not?

thanks I knew about that and it was set to no but for some reason it still put the "edited by" in,the post was edited after the time threshold ...Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Last Edited by...'

now that its been "published" so to speak how do you remove the text from the database?
