    Slow because too many hacks
or/and your webhost's server is slow.

    Change webhost.
Out with some of your hacks.

Where to start.... it looks like you got rid of your vBulletin index.php and replaced it with a vBa index.php and then encapsulated your forumhome into it. Now all of your vBa modules load and refresh for every page.

The page has a bad script ('this.controlobj' is null or not an object) and is loading flash content on every page refresh.

You have some missing image files (navbits_finallink_ltr.gif, bot_right.gif, bot_left.gif, etc) which is also delaying the page load.

Also, you are pulling content from many outside sources (sportsonline, adsense, Youtube and other ads)

Lots of other content items slowing you down too: Youtube Flash, Shoutbox javascript (43k), menus javascript (17k), header (41k), marquee..... and on and on...

Use this site to troubleshoot your website:

Consider putting a main page (like your original vbadvanced page) back in place with all your toys, then lead into the forums with the standard forumhome page. This is where most navigation and page refreshes will take place- then they won't need to reload all that stuff on every click.

I'm surprised your host hasn't given you "the boot" yet!

Okay I did all that stuff. Put all my stuff on the main page and left the forum by itself in hope of it to refresh faster. but i dont notice a difference. Any suggestions?

Install a fresh copy of vB into the password protected folder:
            www.LaredoForums.com/testvb

            No hacks!
            How is it performing there?

            Slow?
            Change your host.

            Fast?
Fast because of the lack of hacks.

Create a folder(directory) named testvb on your webspace.
Password protect it from the public.

How to do it on your system I do not know.
Most commonly it's done with .htaccess.(I can't use it.)

Upload the edited vB files and install the forum.
