  • Strange "table in use" errors

    Hello,

    I'm receiving the following database error mails. And neither are the thread views being updated anymore. We repaired the tables yesterday (including MyISAM ). They ran for a while, but its now back to square one:

    Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

    Invalid SQL:
    TRUNCATE TABLE vb3_attachmentviews;

    MySQL Error : MyISAM table 'vb3_attachmentviews' is in use (most likely by a MERGE table). Try FLUSH TABLES.
    Error Number : 1105

    My server account was recently renamed from ABCDEF to EFGHIJ, and due to that, all file paths were updated. Is this related?

    Thanks much

    Hate to bump the thread up, but this is kinda urgent. Anyone?

      You might need to get your host to restart mysql or at least do a flush on your database.

        Hi Zachery,

        Did the flush and restarted mysql as well. No luck.
