    Bold Moderators

    I am using 3.6.x for one of my boards still and I am trying to make my moderators bold.

    I put this in:

    <span style="font-weight: bold;">
    </span>

    But nothing is happening. I tried <b></b> but that didn't work either.

    It works on all the 3.7.x boards

    Any ideas why this might not be working? Thanks

    Does it work when you view the forums with the default vB style?

    Also, is the

    <span style="font-weight: bold;">
    </span>

    or

    <b></b>

    in the HTML source code of the page?

        If you answer my 2 questions in post #2, I'll help you troubleshoot this.

          1) Well it is my default theme. The person who created this actually tweaked the default theme colors and images.

          2) I am not sure. How can I check to see if it is?

          Thanks

            Try viewing your forums with the default vBulletin style and see if your moderator usernames are bolded.

                  I went to Admin CP > VBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options

                  Should there be a setting in there to turn that on or off maybe?

                        That is not a default style. Did you make a totally default vbulletin style and test this out then - Style Manager > create new style > put No Parent where it asks for parent.

                        If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

                          Honestly I am not sure. The person who had the board before created it. But it is defaulted to the default style and I edit the default style which is named Default. Whether it is truly "the" default I guess is the question.

                            Do what I said:
                            make a totally default vbulletin style and test this out then - Style Manager > create new style > put No Parent where it asks for parent. If you do this, you will have a new totally default vbulletin style.

                            Then, click on the name of the style in the style manager list - the name of this new style is what I mean. Now go take a look at the threads and see if their names are bold. To get back to your normal style, go back to the style manager list and click on the name of your normal style and you will then go back to viewing your site in your normal style.

                              Cool I just did that. Yeah I went and checked out the new style. But they were not bold in the new test style either.
