Appointing a new Administrator

I am running 3.6.8

I want to make my friend an Administrator.

-I added him to the Administrator Group
-I gave him Administrator Permissions
-I am one of two Super Administrators, my user number into includes/config.php

He can not log into ACP, even though i gave him all the permissions...

Am I missing something?

You need to make his primary usergroup Administrator.

I did. that's what i said above, set him to the administrator group, i meant that was his primary usergroup..

Try logging in as this user to see if you have the same problem. If you don't, then the cause is somewhere on their end. It's impossible to know exactly what it is but some possibilities are: browsers, browser settings, Internet and security settings, ISP and/or cache issues, firewalls, ad-blockers, spyware, proxies and any other application that affects Internet content.

Oh, sorry. His account was somehow bugged... he could not change his profile or anything.

We just created a new account, and it worked...
