    Hide Administrators and Moderators Titles

    Hi

I want to prevent Administrators and Moderators and Supermoderators titles from being displayed at all, anywhere but most importantly, not on each and every post of theirs.

Basically I don't want ordinary users to ever be able to know who the moderators and administrators, are, but most importantly not on every post of theirs.

I don't mind if there is a display of member, junior member etc, but if it's easier to knock them all off in one shot, I would consider even that option too.

    Thanks

Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Search In Templates > usertitle > on EVERY template you find the word usertitle, find the line that it's on, and in front of the "if" part comment it out:

    <!-- before the <if

and --> before the closing if.

    Example:

    Code:
    <!-- <if condition="$post['usertitle']">
                         <div>$post[usertitle]</div></if> -->
I can imagine you can possibly just delete the line as well, but I like doing it this way in case I change my mind.

MEMBERINFO is the template for when you look at someone's profile.

There are a few others like Memberlist, etc.

You'll also want to NOT show forum leaders, and you'll want to not bold/italic/color any of the staff members names if you really want to hide who is a staff member.

      Thank you very much

However not all the templates that have the word [usertitle]

Not all of them have <if and (and an end if)

Should the be commented out too? Or is that unnecessary?

      Thanks

This does not require editing any templates.

To remove moderator and administrator user titles go to

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit Usergroup

Remove the contents of the user title field and save the changes.

To remove other user titles, go to

AdminCP > User Titles > User Title Manager

and delete all user titles listed.
