How to back up db using admincp to a particular location ?
can I use manually this mode : http://mysite.com/backup/
or it should be stored in the attachments stored type as :
    /home/mysite/location ??

and is this a safe mode/recommended for databack up ? as we have a huge forum and not small forum so no time outs can probably occur or do u still recommend using ssh or phpmyadmin mode ??
I have gone through the vb docs html tutorials so I have just asked the above information

You can backup your forums DB from Admin CP > Maintenance > Database Backup > All Yes > Go. Default backup path is the main directory of your forum. But note that this way to make a backup is not recommended cause of different reasons, so you should try SSH/Telnet backup. Look about it here.
