  • Path to forums directory

    Hi all,

I've finished installing the vb Image hosting mod and now I have to change some configurations. One of them is "Path to your forums" and it says:

The complete path to your forums directory (no trailing slash)
    Unix ex. /home/user/public_html/forums
    windows ex. c:/apache/httdocs/forums .

If my forum directory in my host is www/vietmot.net/forum, then what should I type in for this one? It seems to me that the paths above are from local host (i.e. my computer)? I'm confused.

    Thanks!

On Unix/Linux systems you can find the complete path name by telnetting or sshing into your server, going to that directory and typing:

    pwd

You will have to find out the exact path on your Windows machine. I have no idea what that would be. Maybe Windows Explorer will help. Otherwise you can ask your host for help with this.
