  • Privacy Policy Page

    Hello

Please Tell me how i can create privacy policy page and add privacy policy button near contact us button?

    Thanks

You can go to the admincp and from the faq section add a new section for your privacy policy, this way you can also translate it if needed. Then point the privacy link to that url.

You can add the privacy policy to your FAQ or goto:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details

On that page there is an option for:

      Privacy Statement URL

Set that to the URL to your privacy page (i.e. privacy.php / privacy.htm / http://www.site.com/dir/privacy.htm etc). If like me you want it styled with your forum style you will need to create a custom page. Information on how to do this can be found here:

      http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62164

However, I believe that this is classed as a custom modification and as such is technically not supported

I have tried creating my Privacy Policy & Terms Of Service within FAQ and that didn't go over so well.

What I'm trying to do is be able to add my Terms of Service & Privacy Statement to my site. I would like to be able to do it like vBullentin has it where it's at the footer and then you click on it and it goes to the information but also keeps my style of my forum on the page when it displays the information.

I have searched a dozen threads on how to try to do it but I must be missing something. If anyone can help me out that would be much appreciated. Please be as much deatiled as possible. I'm still a noob in creating my forum. Thanks.
