Forum Line Breaks ???

How do i create breaks between any specific sub sections ??

I.E. How do I create a break between the Tropical Weather and Pro Meteorologists sections ???

Normally you would setup categories by setting this to No for your categories:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Act as Forum

Then edit the parents of the other forums to group them under the categories.

Then you can put a space between each category using this template modification:

Uhhhh, Yea, I don't get it....

Maybe i'm completely stupid.... But i don't understand what the hell I am doing.....

This process seems way too complicated just to partition my sites indivual sections.... is there another way ???

Because i am ready to break my computer, this is so confusing and complicated...

I am not versed in HTML AT ALL !!!!

I think you're looking to break things down into categories? As a complete n00b myself, I know how hard it is to get a handle everything.

As suggested above, in your AdminCP, navigate to here:
Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager ->

Since you don't have any categories, you need to add new forum to make one and on the page where you name and describe it, there is a setting called Act as Forum. If you set it to no, it will become a category/divider between sections.

Then go into your existing forums setup page and change the parent forum field to be the category you just created.

when you go there, only copy n paste the stuff it tells you to. for instance if it says blue.. you upload the blue wording.

then click save.

ive only been doing this for less than a month, i know it gets frustrating.. but hang in there. a lot of people speak to us like we are some kind of experts lol. not all of us do this for a living

I did it eactly how it was described and yet no change occured... I'm not that much of a Noob that i wouldn't follow directions exactly.....

I tried it again only to not see ANY changes at ALL.....
