  • Redirection URL Problem

    I have just done a fresh install with the latest release files. When I try to login into the admin section and the redirect page comes up it tries to redirect to http://www.site.comhttp://www.site.com instead of http://www.site.com.

    Also when you do get in the admin cp and try and search for a user it does the same with the URL.

    I can not figure it out, there is nothing weird in the install and no plugins installed or style changes. This is a fresh install.

    Can someone offer some advice/help on this?

    Hmm, my first guess would be these settings in your includes/config.php file:

    Code:
    	//	****** PATH TO ADMIN & MODERATOR CONTROL PANELS ******
    	//	This setting allows you to change the name of the folders that the admin and
    	//	moderator control panels reside in. You may wish to do this for security purposes.
    	//	Please note that if you change the name of the directory here, you will still need
    	//	to manually change the name of the directory on the server.
    $config['Misc']['admincpdir'] = 'admincp';
    $config['Misc']['modcpdir'] = 'modcp';
    These are the default values which should be left alone unless you rename those directories.

      Yes they have been left alone. In fact it does it when I try to create a new thread in the fourms as well.

        That is strange. If you have any customizations then try temporarily removing them to see if that is the cause. Try disabling your plugins:

        Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Plugin/Hook System

        Also run a file check to look for customized files:

        Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

        Otherwise we can take a look if you submit a trouble ticket with your forum and server info:

            In that case we can take a look if you submit a trouble ticket with your forum and server info:
