  • trasfered over forum, not sure what problem is

    Is there any way of identifying what the problem is, I have just trasfered my forum over to a new host

    I trasfered over the database
    I trasfered over the files
    I updated the config file

    - all as descibed here

    but its not working and I cant idetify the problem, forum:
    localtutorforum.com

    I dont know whether it is a missing file, access to the database, or missing database entries, how can i find out???

    Im not entirely sure why but Im getting this error:

    MySQL Error : Access denied for user '*****'@'*****' to database '*****' so is it my config file?

    i tried a php test:
    <?php
    mysql_connect("***", "*****", "****") or die("why is this error now occuring: ".mysql_error());
    Print 'no errors found'
    ?>
    which can be found here:
    localtutorforum.com/dbTest.php

    it works fine, suggesting user has access to the db ????

    The most likely cause of this error is that the info in your config.php file is wrong or your db user does not have full permissions to this database. Please read this for all the known causes of this error:
