Disable characters on registration

Hi,
i've got users that register with characters like $ % ' ? and more and more!

I want to disable this, there is way to do this?

This will limit registration names to alphanumeric characters including space:

vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > User Registration Options > Username Regular Expression: ^[A-Za-z0-9.]+$

@ _ -
