  • Implementing forum sections as RSS feeds

I've tried turning on the External Data Provider options for RSS Syndication, but I can't seem to get IE7 to recognize any available RSS feeds on either my site or an individual forum section, or even thread. I can't find much, if anything in the help or FAQs. Can someone tell me how to get this working?

Here is the error I get from IE7 when I tell it to do a feed discovery:
    --------------------------------------------
Internet Explorer cannot display this feed
    This feed contains code errors
    ...
XML document must have a top level element
    Line: 0 Character:0
    ---------------------------------------------

    Help?

The problem is that you do not allow guests to view our forums. The RSS feeds use guest permissions.
