How to add RSS Feed into sites address bar

Is there any way...

I've heard of a site with an RSS feed that displays the first portion of a posting but requires sign-in for the rest.

My vBulletin (3.8.4) site requires a username/password but I would really like to do an RSS feed. Unfortunately, it appears that you can only have an RSS feed with forums that are open (i.e. no username/password).

Does anyone have a magic solution?

All you need to do is enable the external feed system and make sure your forums and threads are viewable by guests.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> External Data Provider
