  • Externalcahce database error

    Getting this strange error lately:
    Code:
    Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

    Invalid SQL:

    REPLACE INTO externalcache
    (cachehash, dateline, text, headers, forumid)
    VALUES
    (
    '91efa8adef12ee93e411ce0508d3e316',
    1196707247,
    '<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"ISO-8859-1\"?>\r\n\r\n<rss version=\"2.0\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:content=\"http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/\">\n <channel>\n <title>BLABLABLABLABLA

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'forumid' in 'field list'
    Error Number : 1054
Strange thing is that it only shows that error when showing RSS from forumid 16, the other forums are showing correctly in the RSS.
    Any ideas?

You are missing the externalcache.forumid column. That column was added in 3.6.6. Did you recently upgrade your forum? If so, make sure you ran the "install/upgrade.php" file to completion. Otherwise you can manually add the missing field with this query:

ALTER TABLE externalcache ADD forumid INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0'

      Column exists
It's only happening with forumid 16 which is strange.
      It's 3.6.8 PL2 btw

As if the column exists for some forumids but not others? That would be highly unusual. Maybe try running a repair:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Repair / Optimize Tables

          I tried that, didn't work.
          Check:
          Error:
          http://www.twenteracingscene.com/ext...S2&forumids=16

          No probs:
          http://www.twenteracingscene.com/ext...S2&forumids=17
          http://www.twenteracingscene.com/ext...S2&forumids=70

The error URL is working fine for me:

            http://www.twenteracingscene.com/ext...S2&forumids=16

              How can that happen?
              Strange...
              guess it solved itself, lol.
