  • Hide whole forum for non-members?

How can I hide all of the forum content for non-members, so they can't see forum names, threads, posts, post counts or "What's Going On"? The only things they should be able to see are the page header, log-in box and page footer. Only activated logged-in users should be able to see and use the forum.

Is the only option to hide one-by-one forum for not-logged-in members at "Forum Permissions"?

    Anyone?

I think that's what I did - set permissions up for that usergroup Unregistered Users/Not Logged in - they have NO set for everything. Might be a better way - not sure!

Set the "Can View Forum" permission to No under Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager by editing the Unregistered / Not Logged In usergroup.

Edit the Unregistered usergroup and take a look at this setting: Can View Forum
I tihnk that's what you want.
