New user need help!!!!

so i downloaded vbulletin, uploaded it through my ftp whatever then when i go to run the installation script it says sorry for the inconvienence server is down to maintenence try back soon. did i do something wrong or is this something i have to just wait out?

Make sure you've uploaded all the files correctly, and then point your browser to the install.php file, if you get that error it might mean your host is doing maintenance, contact them to confirm.
