  • sending emails from the admincp

i have read somewhere about a bug from sending emails from the admincp .

is it old bug in some versions or it's a problem and we should avoid sending emails from admincp until now ?

    i use 3.6.8

if we should avoid , is there other ways to contact the members?

    any help is appreciated .

    thank you.

I am not aware of any bugs with the mailing system in the Admin CP. It should work fine.

Nope. I am not aware of any email bugs in 3.6.8.

What do you mean by "also the date of the threads is too old."

A bug effecting a service as critical as the Send Email To Users tool would have likely been fixed quickly. As Jake said, there aren't currently any known glitches in the tool that haven't been resolved by vBulletin staff

It would help us in regards to giving support or knowing what bug you are talking about, by explaining what the issue is you're having with sending email.
