Extend forum title query.

What is the correct query to run to extend the forum titles in vbulletin 3.6.8?

This should do it (backup first):

ALTER TABLE forum CHANGE title title VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT ''

ALTER TABLE forum CHANGE title_clean title_clean VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT ''

That will increase the field length from the default 100 characters to 255.

It works for me. Is there a more detailed error that might indicate what is wrong?

Also note that those are two separate queries you need to run individually.
