  • Javascript popup menus not working?

I have a little problem while trying to enter any pop-up menu that is using js.
let me explain. on the main page if I click the quick links there is a popup menu that hops with all links.
If I'm clicking on that quick links tab its working only on the main page. here's an example -
    Main page:
Inside a forum/memberlist/anything else that is not the main page:
(none of that popup javascript menu's are working, not even the search popup box)
I tried to change the style into vBulletin's default one and all of that javascript popup stuff worked just fine.
This is basically a template modification error, but how can I fix it?
It's a very customized skin so I cannot revert it to the original code since it will destroy all of the changes we made.

Is there any missing JavaScript that doesn't load in in other pages unless the main one?

Thanks in the advance, and sorry for my English

Most likely you have a javascript error from adding customizations to your forum. Please follow these steps to diagnose the issue.

First, re-upload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

If that didn't solve the problem, then please disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Now check again.

If you still have the same problem please let me know.
