  • Primary Usergroup <> Additional Usergroups ???

    Hello,
can you explain me connection between Primary Usergroup and Additional Usergroups?
I mean which usergroup settings will be higher supremacy?
    An example:
    Primary Usergroup:

    Attachment Permissions - 100MB

    Additional Usergroup:

    Attachment Permissions - 500MB

So what will be the actual upload quota for this user?

    thanks

500mb; all permissions work like this:
One yes will override any amount of no.
Numeric permissions takes the largest number.

When multiple usergroups are involved, a 'Yes' permission always overides a 'No' permission if 'Allow Users to have Member Groups ' is set to 'Yes' for the Primary group. Same goes for a larger quota.

It takes the largest value. So it will still be 500Mb.

            Additional user groups

My additional user groups always revert to off after a while (day or so)...

I recently upgraded from 3.0.7 to 3.6.8 - Before I had it set up so that a user belonging to "Primary Group A" could also belong to more additional groups. Now they always revert to just belonging to "Primary Group A" even after I manually add them via the admin to the other groups.

I know there used to be a setting somewhere that allowed me to do this - just can't find it now.

            Can someone please help?

            Thanks in advance.
