php include not working...

I added this line to the header template to include my main nav bar, but it isnt working for some reason, what am I doing wrong?

Phpinclude has been replaced by the global_start plugin. Please see these instructions:

How to Include a PHP or HTML File

I'm guessing you can't include a html or php file that contains php includes within it?
