Moving Forum?

I am trying to move my forum to another add on site in the same server. I want the forum to just be on one site instead of two since I whitelisted it. If I move all the files will and delete the orginal site will it screw everything up?

www.gdcsigs.com/forums <---orginal site

www.siggynation.com/forums <---added whitelist

I am having some problems with users not seeing pictures that were uploaded using the site uploader. Also want to kill the confusion of two different sites.

It is all the same server? If so, then moving the files should not mess anything up.
