Subjects being centered instead of left justified

Help please,
I added a google search bar to my header template. Now my subjects are showing up centered instead of left justified but only in IE. Firefox displays the subjects left justified as they've always been.
Any suggestions?

Can modifying the header template in any way effect the way the posts subject is shown for all forums?

If the code is improperly formatted and nesting isn't closed properly, then yes it can affect everything that comes after it. Make sure all instances of centering are closed in your newly added code.
