How to show child forums on Category bar

This site, Big Footy, has some categories where the child forums show up on the blue category bar instead of as forums underneath.

I would like to do this to a couple of forums on my site.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> {Edit Forum} -> Posting Options -> Act as Forum
(Will act as category if no)

Hi, we had tried this. It just inserted it as a category under the parent category.
We have now worked out that how it shows them depends on what level of child forum it is.
We have one level of categories and if we set the next level down as a category it just shows as a separate category but the next level down appears on the same category bar as its parent.

Must be related to how we have subforums displayed in the options. ie the number of sub forums to display etc.
