Avatar questions.

I don't want the users have to upload their custom avatar to my site, I just want to them have a direct link.

When I upload the gif, the image stops moving? is there a fix for it?

1. There is no option in vB to do this.

2. You would need to enable your members to upload ccustom animated avatars in the usergrroup settings. Also if they upload an avatar larrge than the size limits, vB may resie that image and if it's animated, the animations will be lost.
