Issue in Forumhome (index)

Hi folks,

i've just installed a new vB and i have saw there is a trouble in my forum index ... when i post in a forum a new message and i go back on my index page i saw that the forum icons is "lighted" cause there are some new posts (mine) ...

the only way that i can turn out this "light" is only if i go in the forum without enter in the thread ... cause if i click on the thread's title (in the index) the forum icon remains lighted ...

is a cookie trouble? maybe my browser (FireFox)?

Sorry, I don't quite follow what you are saying. What type of read option are you using?

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type

I recommend changing to this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type -> Database (automatic forum marking)

And this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Database Read Marking Limit

The first time you set this all posts will show up as unread because the database marking is new. Once you mark the forums as read everything will work fine.
