    Wow! This is hard

Ok well finally to due to me figuring it out myself I can now post on here.

My problem now is getting my forum started. How do I install it to my server provider. I have a place to put it and I read the manual, but I can't figure it out.

What part of the installation instructions are you having a problem with?

Well I have been on the email support with Martin for the past 3-4 hours trying to get it uploaded and running and as far as we got was

Uploading it to SmartFTP. I was able to get it into the temp. queue but nothing else past that. Now I just got done waiting for his reply after an hour of no response I have decided to go to bed, and decide whether I am will keep or get my money back in the morning. ANy help on this matter will be appreciated, I will check this first thing in the morning when I get up.

I do not know how to run SmartFTP. I do not know what to do next past upload file in temp queue.

My number is 267-261-9530 if anyone wants to call me tomorrow with help. Thanks

Please do not start support thread and ticket for the same issue. Now that you have a ticket you need to follow up there.

Please also note that we cannot train you to use SmartFTP. You should contact them for help using this.

I wasn'tr getting help when I started this thread. But thanks anyways, You know what This whole vB experience is becoming more and more anoying everyday I have it. First you guys do not want to help you customers unless they spend that riduculous amount on support, then I have to spend HOURS, literally, just to get as far as i did, which was a waste because I still don't have it up. Now I apparently can't have a thread on the forum, and a ticket open of the same subject....LOL vB you crack me up. You guys all about making that money, but not helping your supporting customers. If I knew it would be posted I would post something about how not to purchase vB because they will not help you unless you pay that support fee.

Im sure someone on here can help me with the SmartFTP......If noone will help thats fine I will try to get my money back, because I am sure there are other forums out there that will be glad to help.

You shouldn't be dragging files to the temporary queue or the transfer queue, you should drag and drop the files directly into the folder in your remote window pane.

I'm slightly confused by your comment

First you guys do not want to help you customers unless they spend that riduculous amount on support,
Are you refering to phone support? You do not need a phone support contract to get support. When you open a ticket and one of the staff picks it up, that staff member will continue with the ticket untill the issue is resolved or they pass it to someone else. Rarely ever do multiple people work on the same ticket, it causes more problems and delays.

You only going to freakout the first couple of weeks, then it will be easy to do.
Do you have a host and if so who did you get. I was shown once how to upload and ran same test over and over, then learn the steps to edit config and create a database.
