Conditional to detect last listed forum or thread?

Are there any conditionals available which are capable of detecting the last item in the forumhome (forumhome_forumbit_level1_post / forumhome_forumbit_level2_post) & forumdisplay (threadbit?) pages?

I want parts of the last item to have a different look (actually, get rid of a horizontal line which is displayed at the bottom of each item, but is not needed on the last one).

There are no built in conditionals for this.
