vb 368: Which usergroupid can I change?

Hi vb 368 - change usergroupid

I know that I should not chnage usergroupid 2, since this would crash vb. But is it possible to change other usergroupid?

I need this for an import of my photopost installation. It has different UG-IDs and it would make it easier if I could create som new usergroups and change their IDs and some of the standrd UG except UG-ID 2

Is this possible?

and what about new usergroups which I specifically create for me personally?

a) Can I change their UG-ID?


B) I have some problems with the default UG-IDs- They seem to have different UG-Ids "under the cover" then what they are displaying in ACP.

At least when I make an intgeration with Photopost and tell PP to use the UG of vb, suddenly totally different UG-Ids apperaing in the db of PP. Those IDs are different from the ones displayed in vb.

How does that come?

Technically you could change the usergroupids of custom usergroups, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

If you're having problems with the photopost integration then I recommend you ask for help from them.
