How do I remove a supermoderator?

Hi folks,

Under Forums / Show All Mods, I have a list of people in a section "Super Moderators" followed by "Moderators". I've clicked about the place but I can't figure out why these people have supermod access. I went in and stripped one account of permissions but that didn't actually remove him from the listing under Show All Mods. There are no users in the supermods group.

This is actually linked not in the Show All Moderators section, but in the Usergroup section instead.

When you go to Usergroups/Usergroup Manager, and edit a usergroup, in this case, the Moderators usergroup, scroll down to box that is titled 'Administrator Permissions' and have a look to see if you have set the 'Can Access Control Panel (is Administrator)' to Yes. If it is, hereby lies your problem. Simply set this to No.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no. The 'supermods' group has no users and 'mods' only has 2 people as additional users. The people listed as 'super moderators' do not share a common group.
