About infraction system auto ban

I'm setting up the infraction system on my forum, and it seems like a very powerful tool.

I read the vb manual on infractions, and I couldnt understand one thing. I'm mainly going to use the auto ban function with number of infractions instead of points.

So, if I set an auto ban to 5 infractions, what will be the infractions that will count? Will all infractions/warnings count? Will only infractions and/or warnings that are active count? The manual doesn't explain that part.

Only infractions count - not warnings.

Does expired infractions count?

Yes. Automatic bans placed on the number of infractions include expired infractions.
