How is this possible? Users Awaiting Conf (w/ posts!)

Hey guys,

I was doing some searching in my AdminCP and pulled up a list of all the usernames that are "Awaiting Email Confirmation" and noticed there are many usernames in this group that have posts! Some users who are "awaiting email confirmation" even have over 1,000 posts.

How is this possible? I didn't know it was possible for a user to 'reset' their membership and need to reconfirm their account. Any idea what happened here? Thanks.

They've changed their email address and are yet to click the confirmation link.

So whenever a user changes their email address they must get a confirmation email and click the link? Is there anyway to only allow the confirmation email to be activated upon the initial registration and not upon changing the email address later on? Thanks for your help.

Yep that's how it works.

I don't think it's possible to set it up like you say, I could be wrong, but I think it would require code modifications.
