automatically parse URLs in to BBCode

I searched, but didn't find anything. Where do I turn this on or off?

    Thanks

There's no option to disable it automatically, you'd need to edit the appropriate templates and uncheck the checkbox there.

Sorry, but which template? I've looked at each and don't find this exact option.

Should be in the "newreply" template.

I must be missing something. In one of the "fixes" to prevent new members from entering URLs before posting 5 postes. This is one of the statements in the instructions.

Note: This works by detecting the [url] tag and so it relies on vBulletin BBCode enabled and vBulletin to automatically parse URLs in to BBCode. If you have either of these disabled it will not work.

I find the places to enable BBCode, but wouldn't "automatically parse URLs in to BBCode" be in one of the "options" selections???

You have to manually edit the templates as GHOwner said.

Thanks, just not bright enough to figure that out and no support from the writer, so disabling it.
