Change Homepage

I have vBadvanced, and currently, it is /portal.php. I was wondering how to change that to /index.php so I can access it quickly and easily. Note that I am a beginner, so i need step by step instructions. Thank you.

Go into your FTP and change index.php to forums.php
Then go into your admincp/ from vBulletin and go to the vbulletin options > home page options > change it from index to forums (without the .php)

And you're done.

You're much better off asking about portal.php at vbadvanced since (i assume) you're referring to the CMPS portal page.
