Help: New Post Notification Working Incorrectly

I'm noticing that when I post and go back to the main index page, the new post indicator says there's a new post and when I go into the forum there is no new posts. So it's recognizing my own post as an unread post.

Any way to correct this?

I'm using a brand new clean installion of vBulletin as of yesterday

Set this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type -> Database (automatic forummarking)

And this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Database Read Marking Limit

The first time you set this all posts will show up as unread because the database marking is new. Once you mark the forums as read everything will work fine.
