Creating a homepage that shows latest top 5 posts

Creating a homepage that shows top 5 posts in the threads of my choosing is something i want to do.
I know it's possible on earlier versions of vBulletin but can it be done with 3.6.8?
My forum is www.c-play.co.uk but i inherited it from clanplay.com [which had the page i 'm talking about]

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
